Terms of Service

These are the terms for using Wally. By booking a consultation, buying a rack system, or using the Wally app, you agree to them. Read them — they're short.

Who we are

Wally Storage Inc. is an Alberta, Canada corporation. When we say "Wally", "we", or "us", we mean the company. When we say "you", we mean you.

What Wally sells

Two things:

  1. The Wally rack system — physical wall-mounted storage, professionally installed at your property.

  2. The Wally app — a software service to help you track what's in your bins.

Each has its own rules below.

Rack system terms

Pricing and payment
Prices are confirmed during your free consultation. A deposit is due when you book your install. The remaining balance is due on the day of install.

Installation
Our team handles measurement, mounting, and setup. You're responsible for providing reasonable access to your garage and a clear workspace on install day.

Cancellation
You can cancel your install up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time and receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the install receive a 50% refund. Day-of cancellations are non-refundable. Once installation is complete, the rack system is yours.

Warranty
Your rack system is covered by the Wally Warranty — a separate document that explains what's covered and for how long.

App terms

Eligibility
You must be 16 or older and live in a country where we operate the app.

Your account
Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.

Your content
Photos, descriptions, and item data you add to the app are yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service. We don't use them to train AI — see our Privacy Policy for the details.

Acceptable use
Don't:

  • Upload illegal, abusive, or infringing content

  • Upload content that isn't yours to upload

  • Use the app to harass or impersonate anyone

  • Abuse the service (e.g. uploading excessive photos to strain our systems)

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service

Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Upload illegal content

  • Violate the acceptable use rules above

  • Cause chargebacks or fraudulent disputes

  • Fail to pay for paid tiers (when introduced)

  • Upload excessive or abusive volumes of photos

If we terminate your account, we'll keep your data for 30 days to allow you to export it or contest the decision, then permanently delete it.

The app is provided "as-is"
We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose. Third-party services we depend on (such as OpenAI) may change or be discontinued. We'll do our best to maintain the service but make no guarantees about uptime or feature continuity.

Pricing
The app is free today. If we introduce paid tiers, existing features on your current plan won't be taken away without notice and a reasonable transition period.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wally is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services.

Our total liability for the app is limited to the amount you've paid us for it in the prior 12 months (which may be zero). Our total liability for the rack system is limited to the purchase price you paid.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be limited under Alberta or Canadian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Alberta. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Alberta.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes get posted here with notice to active app users. Your continued use of Wally after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
