What's covered
Structural frame — 10 years
The wall-mounted rack system and its mounting hardware, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Installation workmanship — 2 years
If your installation develops problems that trace back to how we installed it (loose mounts, misalignment, anchor failure), we come back and fix it.
Parts and labour — all-in
If a covered claim is approved, we cover both the replacement parts and the labour to come back and install them. No surprise invoices.
About the storage totes
The HDX storage totes included with your Wally system are manufactured and sold by Home Depot. They are covered by Home Depot's standard warranty and return policy — not by the Wally Warranty. Each tote is rated by HDX for up to 75 lbs of contents.
If a tote develops a manufacturing defect, bring it to any Home Depot location or contact their customer service directly. Need help navigating the process? Email hello@wallystorage.com and we'll walk you through it.
What's not covered
Overloading. The Wally rack system is designed to support up to 75 lbs per bin position. Loading bins beyond this voids the structural warranty.
Modification. Drilling, cutting, repainting, or otherwise altering the system.
Unauthorized reinstallation. Moving the system to a new wall or home without using Wally's installation service.
Damage from fire, flood, vehicle collision, or acts of god.
Normal wear and tear. Surface scuffs, dings, and UV fade over time.
The Wally app. The software is governed by our Terms of Service, not this warranty.
Transferring the warranty
If you sell your home, your Wally Warranty transfers to the next homeowner at no cost. They just need to email hello@wallystorage.com with their details and the installation address within 30 days of the sale.
The warranty clock doesn't restart — coverage runs from the original install date, not the transfer date.
Making a claim
Email hello@wallystorage.com with:
Your name and install address
A description of the issue
Photos (ideally with something in the frame for scale)
We'll get back to you within 3 business days. If the claim is covered, we'll schedule a visit. If we can't repair the issue on site, we'll replace the affected part. If we can't replace it, we'll refund you the prorated value.
One more thing
If you think you have a legitimate issue and it doesn't fit neatly into the categories above, email us anyway. We'd rather talk it through than hide behind fine print.
